Peter Pan was in fact the villain in the first draft of J.M. Barries play; Captain Hook was only introduced later as a theatrical device to help stagehands change scenery. The casting call describes him as in his teens, and is a mischievous and devious Lost Boy.

Why was Peter Pan a bad guy?

Peter Pan is a selfish person who gets enjoyment at the expense of others, and yet hes presented as the hero of the story. Why havent more people seen through him at this point and declared him as the villain of the story.
